WorshipAssist: your band's music workspace

WorshipAssist brings songs, chords, setlists and shared band sessions together. Open WorshipAssist and sign in with your SundayAssist account. You can use it without Presenter. The same church songs and setlists are available through Connect when your access permits it.

Choose a workspace and check access

Create a music workspace for your band, select an existing workspace, or accept the invitation your team sent. Check the selected band or church before editing or sharing music.

An active WorshipAssist or Complete subscription covers the workspace's invited musicians; each musician does not need to buy a separate subscription. Eligible workspaces can start a 28-day music trial. Connect membership alone does not provide continued WorshipAssist access after that trial. Your role also determines whether you can read, edit or manage the workspace. See current plans.

Presenter's local WorshipAssist QR connection is a separate way to read the desktop song library. Opening a church's Presenter remotely without its QR requires Complete. See Presenter and phone connections.

Prepare songs and setlists

Open Songs to search or edit your shared library. Use inline chords such as [C]Amazing [G]grace, and check the song's default key. Open Setlists to select and order songs; repeated occurrences can have different keys. Wait for the saved result before sharing. Songs and setlists explains editing, translations, imports and key changes.

Opening a setlist starts independent practice. Choose Live for the full reader, then select lyrics, lyrics with chords, or chords. Use A− / A+ for text size and 2 columns on a tablet. In Live, tap the band key for My chords to change only your own displayed chords; this resets when you leave Live. Save for setlist saves an occurrence's arrangement key. Tempo changes during independent practice stay local.

Invite musicians or share one session

Use Settings → Team to invite musicians and manage their music roles. They sign in and accept the invitation. A shared setlist link still requires access to its workspace; it does not grant membership.

Use Play together to join a band session. An authorised leader starts the session and chooses its song source. A manual song choice pauses following on your device. Jump to song moves once; Resume following follows subsequent changes too.

For a visiting musician, share the session's guest QR or link. It grants reading access to that session's music, without general library or editing access. The guest window is 24 hours from creation or renewal, ending earlier if the session ends or sharing is revoked. Eligible signed-in paid recipients can continue in the same session while the source remains licensed. Opening the sharing dialog again does not extend access; use its renewal action. Replacing the QR invalidates the old link. See guest session access.

Download music before going offline

  1. While online in standalone WorshipAssist, open a saved setlist and choose Download for offline use.
  2. To take the whole library, open Downloaded songs and setlists and choose Download all church songs for the correct workspace.
  3. Wait for the download to finish and check Available until. Open the saved music once before leaving your connection.
  4. Return to Downloaded songs and setlists to read your copies. Refresh them online after the team changes songs or arrangements.

Downloads are personal, read-only practice copies on this device, available for up to 7 days and sometimes less if access ends sooner. Signing out removes them. Online access checks can remove copies when workspace access ends. Shared sessions, editing and fresh music require internet. Merely opening a song online does not prepare an offline copy. When working in Connect, open standalone WorshipAssist to prepare these downloads.

Manage your band and music

Settings keeps band details, team access, subscription and library tools together; the available actions depend on your role. Personal profile, language and account settings remain separate from band management. Manage purchases in the web app.

Use Settings → Library to export or import music, or transfer it to an existing church workspace. Confirm that you have the rights, review the selected songs and setlists, and resolve arrangement conflicts before importing. A transfer does not cancel or create a subscription. Verified owners and editors can still export music after music access expires.

For a standalone band, an owner can hand ownership to an existing member. Eligible nonowners can leave. Review the consequences in Settings before deleting a band or your account: ownership and billing can require additional steps. Deleting a shared church organisation also affects its other SundayAssist data.
